D3 motorway Oščadnica - Čadca, Bukov

The completion of the right lane of the D3 motorway on the approximately four-kilometer section between Oščadnica, Čadca, and Bukov will create a full-capacity motorway connection between the north-south axis of the TENT corridor. The project includes twelve bridge structures, the construction of a new tunnel tube, which is planned to be implemented while the existing half-lane of the D3 motorway remains in full operation, 22 retaining and retaining walls, and the demolition of 45 buildings. Basler & Hofmann Slovakia contributed to the project with its expertise in tunnel boring, road and bridge construction, geotechnical structures, and engineering networks.
