Extension of bridge no. 1543-005 Starý Hrádok
Bridge No. 1543-005 is located near the village of Starý Hrádok. It carries a third-class road over the Stará Podlužianka stream. The bridge in question did not meet the necessary width parameters according to STN 73 6101. Its width was only 5.60 meters and two-way traffic was not possible on the bridge. For this reason, our company proposed widening the bridge and the adjacent road to category C7.5/50.

Given the structural and technical condition of the bridge, which was built in 1948, its reconstruction was proposed. During the reconstruction, the original bridge was removed, including the substructure, and replaced with a new bridge made of prestressed prefabricated bars. The new bridge was designed as a frame structure - an integrated bridge with a span of 10.75 m and a width of 10.265 m.
