Reconstruction of the Bralsky tunnel

Bralský tunnel is located on the railway line Prievidza – Horná Štubňa, in the section between the stations Sklené pri Handlovej – Handlová. The single-track tunnel with a length of 3011 m was built in the years 1927-1931, it was put into use in October 1931. The reconstruction of the tunnel includes the rehabilitation of the stone cladding of the tunnel (chemical grouting, drainage) and tunnel portals, reconstruction of the upper side of the railway in the tunnel and adjacent sections of the track.
