Rock and slope stabilisation on the I/18 main road
The I/18 road between Žilina and Martin is threatened by falling rocks and stones along a 6.9 km stretch. Various protective structures were built as immediate measures: rockfall protection nets and barriers, protective fences, anchored reinforced concrete ribs and an anchored retaining wall.
