Rock stabilisation for Orava castle

Orava Castle in Oravský Podzámok is located on a steep cliff 112 metres above the river with the same name. The northern rock face had become unstable due to weathering and natural erosion. Basler & Hofmann Slovakia planned comprehensive rock stabilisation with protective nets and a dynamic rockfall barrier.
