Rehabilitation of the Červený Kameň slope landslide

Project overview

Road III/1922 in the village of Červený Kameň was threatened by a landslide, which also threatened buildings located above the road. The emergency situation was solved by stabilizing the landslide with a prefabricated retaining wall with a total length of 91 m and 52 pieces of permanent rope anchors. At the same time, the landslide area was drained by surface channels, ribbed drainage pipes with a total length of 150 m and four sub-horizontal drainage wells with a total length of 207 m. Upon the implementation of the stabilization of the landslide, the adjacent 3rd class road that had been damaged as well, was also reconstructed.
